China Metal International Holdings Inc., founded in 1992 by its parent company, China Metal Products, the only listed casting company in Taiwan, went public and listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Dec. 31st, 2004 (ticker number : 0319) to fund its rapid expansion plans in China.

China Metal International Holdings Inc., is one of leading metal casting and machining manufacturers in China, focuses on designing, developing, manufacturing and sales of metal casting products and provides products to automotive, air conditioning and other mechanical manufacturers. From mold design, production, casting, to machining and surface treatment, CMI provides high standard and value-added metal casting products. CMI has three main product categories, Automotive parts and components, Mechanical parts and Compressor parts (mainly for residential air compressor and refrigerator parts). Automotive sector is the primary growth driver as the outsourcing theme and China economic growth spur strong demand for parts and components.

CMI has three plants located in Tiainjin and Suzhou in China, with 8 production lines and annual capacity of 178,800 tons casting iron. By rich experience and providing high quality casting products, CMI has built up long-term cooperative relationship with major international customers, such as TRW, Ford, GM, John Deere, Yanmar, Grundfos, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung, Matsushita, Daikin, Sanyo etc. CMI has built up strategic partnership with leading manufacturers and customers in casting foundry business, such as Vald Birn, one of the biggest casters in North Europe, and Yanmar, the leading diesel engine manufacturer in Japan.
